Christ is Risen!

As part of our efforts to develop a new FOCUS Center in Bridgeport, CT, I visited Saint Barbara’s Orthodox Church to preach and share some news about that project.

Today’s readings from the Book of Acts and the Gospel according to John offer a healthy challenge for us: to make the Kingdom of Heaven manifest through the signs and wonders we’re called to work in the world.

And that’s exactly what a FOCUS Center is!

It’s easier said than done, of course…

But it’s a good reminder—not just in Bridgeport but across the country as Orthodox Christians come together to see and serve Christ in our neighbor.
